Congratulations to all of our students who tested for their black belt last Friday night. Tested for 1st-degree black belt were William Braga, Amy Tan, Pranavi Bandaru, and Pareena Virk. Isabella Tinamisan tested for 2nd-degree black belt and Anthony Elliott tested for 5th-degree black belt.

This week skill and practices

Monday, July 22: TKD Students will be working on their GREEN SKILL STRIPE. Yoga Day for KB members.

Tuesday, July 23: TKD Students will be working on their BLUE SKILL STRIPE and sparring. Complex Day for KB members​

Wednesday, July 24: TKD Students will be working on their GREEN SKILL STRIPE. Level Up Conditioning Day for KB members.

Thursday, July 25: TKD Students will be working on their Kickboxing Combos/Self-defence  and sparring skills. AMRAP Day for KB members.

Friday, July 26: Black Club Members Weapons Training from 6:30 to 7:00 pm. Level Up Strength Day for KB members.

Wellness Tip

Herbs and spices have been used medicinally for thousands of years — now should be no different — even when you cook. Certain spices aid digestion and can even soothe and protect from common digestive complaints.

Here are a list of spices that are best for digestion: Ginger, Coriander Seeds/Cilantro, Cardamom, Fennel Seeds, Turmeric, Cumin, Lemon Balm, Fenugreek, Cinnamon Bark, and Garlic.

Incorporate at least one gut-healthy spice into your diet this week. Use them in smoothies, as seasoning on steam vegetables or salads, or in curries and stir-fries. Spice up your life!
